Collector care

Collect with confidence.

Every acquisition should be understood before it is reserved. Our collector policies explain how we present condition, provenance, dispatch and returns.

Our object record standard

Each catalogue record is prepared to make the object, its condition and the basis for its description clear to the buyer.

Authenticity

Objects are reviewed against the available physical, historical and comparative evidence before listing. Any material uncertainty is stated in the record.

Provenance

Where known, ownership history, source documentation and reference details are preserved with the object record.

Photography

Listing images are intended to show the object honestly. Natural marks, wear and edge detail should be read alongside the written condition note.

Condition & grading

Read the record, not just the grade.

Grades and condition notes are collector guidance, not a substitute for examining the imagery and specifications. Historic objects can carry variation from minting, circulation, storage and age.

Condition notes

We describe visible wear, surface character, repairs, mounting, paper quality and other features material to a collector's decision.

Third-party certification

When an object is encapsulated or certified, the certifier and relevant number are included where available. Please verify certification directly with the issuing service.

Questions before reserving

Ask for clarification through collector support before payment if a condition point, attribution or specification needs further context.

Payment, reservation & dispatch

Reservations are confirmed only after successful payment. The object remains available until payment is completed and accepted.

Secure packing

Orders are packed for the object and shipment method, with handling appropriate to delicate numismatic and heritage material.

Dispatch updates

Once an order is dispatched, the buyer account is updated with a fulfilment status and tracking reference when one is issued.

Delivery timing

Estimated delivery dates depend on destination, carrier acceptance and any required verification. They are not guarantees until confirmed by the carrier.

Returns & buyer guidance

Review promptly

Inspect your order on arrival and contact collector support promptly if an item arrives materially different from its listing or damaged in transit.

Keep it intact

For a return review, retain the original packaging and do not alter, clean, remove from certification holders or otherwise change the object.

Collector suitability

Please review dimensions, metal, denomination, date, grade and images before reserving. Returns for preference are considered only where stated in the individual record and applicable law.
